Accounts Clerk - part time
This is a part time role working 21 hours per week on a permanent basis.
Joining a small, friendly accounts team you will carry out a variety of accounts-based tasks including:
- Process accounts payable invoices
- Reconcile company accounts payable account with customer payments
- Process customer returns
- Assist with month-end and year-end closings
- Maintain general ledger and update financial data
- Prepare bank deposits and handle petty cash transactions
- Prepare various financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
- Provide support during audits
- Any other duties as required to support the team
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience as an Accounts Clerk or in a similar accounting role
- Able to use QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Able to use Excel
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
This is a permanent, part time role, working 21 hours – can be flexible on hours but the role is purely office based and does not offer hybrid working.
Salary £13,000
