Working for this well-established company in Knutsford, you will be working as the Supervisor of the Cashier Department. The role involves management of a small team when the Manager is absent, handling of escalated issues, and the general maintenance of bank accounts. You will assist the department with ledger related activities, including payment runs, managing suppliers and bank accounts some of which will be foreign currency (experience not necessary)
Full training will be given; however, we are looking for candidates who have worked in a Supervisory / Managerial Finance Accounts-related team.

Responsibilities:
- Processing bank transfers/cheque payments for one-off payments
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Processing foreign supplier payments
- Resolving purchase ledger queries from suppliers
- Deputise for Chief Cashier in their absence with team management
Experience:
- Experience of supervising or managing others in a finance-related role
- General Accounting Finance related experience
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Able to communicate effectively with different internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent team working skills including communication and prioritisation
- Able to work to tight deadlines while paying attention to detail
