My client, a specialist and leading environmental services business are currently looking to expand their operational administrative team due to rapidly growing workloads. As the successful candidate you will be responsible for working in conjunction with contracted partners to liaise with housing association tenants to book suitable appointments for surveyors. You will be responsible for the diary management of approx. 9 onsite surveyors. You will also act as first point of contact for any queries coming through.
This is a heavily customer focussed role and will involve high levels of phone work along with email communication so you must have strong written and verbal skills. You must also have an empathetic nature but at the same time be able to work to strict time deadlines.
This role requires a meticulous approach to the work with a high level of attention to detail. You must also be flexible in your approach to allow you to adapt to changing requirements and have the ability to keep everyone up to date. Additional administrative duties will include database management.
Previous administrative experience is highly desirable, and you must be proficient in MS Office (especially MS Excel).
This is initially a 6-week temporary contract however there is a strong possibility of a permanent contract. The company is accessible by public transport and free parking is provided if required.
