Business Development Executive
Are you an enthusiastic and proactive Business Development Executive? Do you have a keen interest in the pensions/financial services industry?
This is a great opportunity for an experienced BD candidate who is confident on the phone and in meetings, understands the value of building long-term relationships, and has a keen interest in the pensions industry.
Duties to include:
- Engage with financial advisers and solicitors to introduce the business
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with new and existing partners
- Generate new business opportunities
- Manage a pipeline of prospective partners and follow up in a timely and professional manner
- Explain the benefits of the services offered, how the business works, and how they will add value
- Arrange and attend meetings, both in person and virtually, to present services
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless partner and client experience
- Keep accurate records of activities, contacts, and pipeline in the CRM system
We are keen to hear from candidates with the following:
- Business development, sales, or relationship management, ideally within financial services or legal sectors.
- Knowledge of pensions, particularly Defined Benefit pensions, is desirable but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident in engaging with professional audiences, including financial advisers and solicitors
- Target-driven with a focus on results and growing business
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
This is a temporary position to start ASAP.
Hourly rate up to £20.50
Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm
