Business Development Manager – Runcorn
Field Based 80% - Office-Based 20%
Are you a motivated and dynamic sales professional with a passion for driving growth and building strong client relationships? Looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a small team and take the lead in developing both new and existing business opportunities.
In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for expanding our client base, managing key relationships, and delivering results that contribute directly to our company’s growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop new business opportunities while nurturing and growing existing client accounts
· Build and manage a robust sales pipeline of potential clients
· Promptly qualify and follow up on sales leads to convert opportunities into revenue
· Identify and engage decision-makers through calls, LinkedIn, emails, and face-to-face meetings
· Support and mentor new staff and consultants to help them create and win business
· Negotiate contracts to maximise profitability while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
· Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments
· Conduct market research to uncover emerging trends and new opportunities
· Work closely with the marketing team to execute effective sales and marketing strategies
· Lead client sales meetings and deliver impactful presentations and proposals
· Consistently exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and activity metrics
· Spend approximately 80% of your time in the field and 20% in-office, focusing on client visits, branch meetings, prospecting, and networking
Ideal Candidate:
· Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
· Strong relationship-building abilities and a customer-first mindset
· Highly motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented
· Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team
· Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly

£40,000-£45,000 + Car Allowance + Monthly Commission OTE £60,000
