Administrator £23,000

Working for a reputable finance company located in the heart of Cheadle, the business is looking to recruit an Administrator for their Claims Department. The role is working Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and will involve the processing and administration of income claims. You do not need to have any experience in working within claims, but you must have a good understanding of using Microsoft Excel and be wanting to progress and develop within the business.

They are looking for someone who is a good all-round administrator who is able to multi-task and keep plates spinning while working in a fast-paced environment, it’s very important that you will have good excel skills as you will use this a lot as part of the role whilst feeling confident in speaking with customers on the phone.

Key Responsibilities

  • To send out new claim packs
  • Request medical evidence necessary for the processing of claims.
  • Reviewing emails and adding to files on the company database
  • Actively chasing outstanding information on claims.
  • To be able to correctly record all information within the spread sheets.
  • To be able to answer queries received by phone or e-mail.
  • To process and scan incoming post.
  • To assist with the processing of payments, including issuing claims payment letters to customers

Ideal candidate:

  • Good communication and numeracy skills
  • Good Excel skills through previous working or education level
  • Ability to prioritise and multi task.
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good time management skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Team working
