Look no further! South Manchester based Insurance Broker is seeking a versatile and skilled Commercial Account Handler with Personal Lines experience to join a specialist insurance team.
- Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of commercial clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Handle both commercial insurance policies and personal lines policies, providing expert advice and tailored insurance solutions for clients' varied needs.
- Understand clients' risks and requirements, conduct thorough risk assessments and provide appropriate coverage recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify and pursue opportunities for account growth and cross-selling across commercial and personal lines.
- Prepare accurate insurance quotes, proposals, and policy renewals for commercial and personal lines, ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
- Process policy changes, endorsements, and claims promptly and efficiently, maintaining accurate documentation and records.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to provide informed guidance to clients and colleagues.
- Collaborate with underwriters and insurers to negotiate terms, conditions, and premiums, securing competitive coverage options for clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service, promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Account Handler with experience in Personal Lines, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of both commercial insurance products and personal lines insurance products, coverages, and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a strong focus on meeting and exceeding client expectations.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with Acturis software
