About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Commercial Account Handler to join a growing Insurance broker based in Chester. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established company offering tailored solutions to a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance clients. You will play a vital role in maintaining and developing strong client relationships while delivering high-quality support across all aspects of commercial account handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of commercial clients, providing day-to-day service and advice.
- Support Account Executives with renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business quotations.
- Work on a wide range of commercial insurance policies including Commercial Property & Motor Fleet.
- Handle client queries efficiently and professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Negotiate with insurers and underwriters to obtain the best possible terms.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using internal systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company procedures.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a commercial account handling or similar commercial insurance role, ideally within the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of commercial products and services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
- Proficient in working on Acturis.
- Cert CII qualification desirable (or working towards).
