Credit Controller

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join a small finance team based in the Skelmersdale area. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the financial services sector and contribute to the organisation’s financial health.

Duties

• Monitor and manage overdue accounts, following up with clients via phone or email to secure payments
• Month end reporting to the Credit Control Manager
• Monthly Review and control unallocated cash levels
• Attend regular debt meetings with the Management to show ledger position and highlight areas where additional support is required
• Open new customer accounts
• Hold / Release and Monitor customer orders and credit exposure

Requirements

• Proven Credit Control experience with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results in a B2B environment
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to work within a result driven environment
• Experience working on multiple Ledgers
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills
