This growing manufacturing and engineering company based in Wilmslow are actively looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller. The role is a full-time permanent role that offers a stable opportunity for someone who enjoys working within a reputable and positive company. The main purpose of the role will be to manage customer accounts to reduce bad debts and improve cash flow. The ideal candidate will have come from a solid Credit Control background at least 2 years within a stable position.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Month end reporting to Credit Manager
- Attend regular debt meetings with the Group Credit Manager to show ledger position and highlight areas where additional support is required
- Month End Customer Statement Runs
- Ensure Credit Control policies and procedures are adhered to and understood
- Ensure appropriate credit risk processes are followed at all times
- Open new customer accounts
- Hold / Release and Monitor customer orders and credit exposure
Person specification
- SAGE System Knowledge
- Proven Credit Control experience
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work within a result-driven environment
- Experience working on multiple Ledgers
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills
