The role of a Customer Care Operative will carry out and fix any defect repairs for new build homes around the North West. Working as part of a fantastic team, you will liaise closely with the customer care department to schedule jobs that come in. Experience working in the construction industry is essential and you will have done a multi-skilled position before. Must have NHBC knowledge. Experience in working in different trades such as painting, plastering, and Joinery is essential. This role is a site-based position and a van will be provided. A full clean license is required Mon - Thursday 8-4.30 pm Friday 8-3.30 pm
Responsibilities:
- The operative will investigate and complete the rectification of (in-house) defects, ensuring all work is carried out safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with design standards, specifications, and company procedures
- Work with members of the Customer Care Team, whilst liaising closely with the Maintenance Manager
- Investigate and complete the rectification of work needed to conclude NHBC/LABC claims
- Maintain/complete accurate and concise records of repairs on Clixifix.
- To assist on various sites where applicable
- Carry out inspections where required and record program of work with the customer care coordinators.
Skills Required:
- Experience working as a maintenance operative in the housing industry
- Knowledge of NHBC
- Working in the Construction Industry
- Experience in working in different trades is essential
