We are currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Customer Service Advisor with sales order entry experience to join our client's team of professionals in a busy distribution business This is a permanent role offering a salary of 23k and excellent benefits. The successful candidates will take responsibility for providing their customers with an excellent level of service and a smooth ordering process
Responsibilities:
- Being the first point of contact on the phone with customers, handling and directing all enquires
- Placing orders and advising customers on the correct product choice in accordance with their needs
- Checking product availability, accuracy of customer details, and order information
- Keeping up-to date with products in order to effectively advise customers
- Working closely with the purchasing, warehouse, and accounts teams
- Progressing to working closely with a Sales Representative as their first point of contact
- Developing more complex skills to process decorated and international orders
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a customer service environment
- Enthusiastic to get to grips with our range of 10,000 products
- Passionate to deliver results and exceed customer expectations
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task in a busy and changeable environment
- PC literacy and accuracy
The role will be offered permanently, with office hours of Monday to Friday 9.00 to 17.30, and every 6th Saturday 9.30 to 15.00, with a total of 38.5 hours worked per week.
