Ocean Export Documentation Clerk required for an expanding business with excellent progression available.  This position will be responsible for the clearance of all the paperwork involved in the Export of goods and offers candidates a vibrant company and an excellent salary.  Must be compliant with export clearance and understand the bills of lading process. The ideal candidate will have worked in Ocean Export or Export before and understand the process and clearance checks.

The ideal candidate for this job will have previous experience in the Export industry, ocean freight is a distinct advantage, but the Export experience is essential.

You will be joining a really great team that works hard and enjoys providing excellent service to clients.

Duties include;

  • Exporting customer entries
  • Liaising with clients
  • Bill of lading 
  • Customs clearance processing
  • Submitting bill of lading instructions
  • Checking draft bills
  • Liaising with shippers/shipping lines and customers

Skills Required: 

  • Ocean/Export Experience is essential 
  • Comfortable with the clearance checks required 
  • Bill of lading 
  • Excellent attention to detail 

This role would suit candidates who have Export experience that can deal with all the relevant paperwork and who have attention to-detail skills and customer service experience.

Salary up to £30'000 DOE

Monday – Friday. 9 am-5.30 pm – 1 hour for lunch

25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
