Finance Administrator - Temporary to Permanent

£12.00 per hour

A well-established organisation with a small, dedicated team located in Lymm are seeking a talented individual to join a close-knit team in a temporary to permanent Finance Administrative Assistant role.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to support a busy team. Initially, this role will start at 35 hours per week to allow for training, but it will transition to a full-time position (40 hours per week) after a few weeks. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in various administrative tasks, including invoicing, correspondence, payroll assistance, and more. This is a varied role including general administrative duties, some basic accounts and credit control, duties to include:

  • Processing approximately 180 invoices per month using Sage
  • Chasing up outstanding invoices by letter and telephone
  • Interacting with colleagues and service users with tact and sensitivity
  • Typing letters and providing occasional personal assistant support to the Director, ensuring confidentiality and attention to detail
  • Assisting with payroll by inputting data into Excel spreadsheets
  • Using Excel and SAGE for various administrative tasks
  • Assisting the team with a variety of administrative duties as needed

We are keen to hear from candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Finance Administration experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Organised, accurate, and able to maintain confidentiality
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to the role, including punctuality and reliability
  • Willingness to collaborate and support team members
  • Mature outlook and the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy
  • Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge is a must
  • SAGE experience is a plus

Benefits:

  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (Reduced hours during the training period, 35 per week)
