Are you an experienced finance administrator with a knack for processing and reconciling transactions related to cash, banking procedures, and bank reconciliations? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Finance Team for our client based in Bromborough!

Following a period of significant growth, they are in need of a skilled finance administrator to support expanding operations. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including processing takings records from multiple branch locations, handling bank-related transactions, performing bank reconciliations across multiple accounts, reconciling petty cash transactions, processing multi-source payments and receipts, and reconciling various business-specific Control Accounts.

Proficiency in working with data in Excel to generate reports according to specific requirements and deadlines is also essential. As a valuable team member, you should be a good team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues, ensuring a smooth workflow within the finance department.

The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following skills and experience:

  •  Solid knowledge of finance team operations, particularly in the area of cash and banking procedures.
  •  Good understanding of transactional processing associated with cash and bank transactions, including recording takings, reconciling bank account transactions, and processing adjustments.
  •  Methodical approach and understanding of basic accounting principles, including double-entry and reconciliation techniques.
  •  Experience working with data in Excel to generate reports according to specific requirements and deadlines.
  • Processing payments received from Customers and allocating payments accurately to Customer Accounts.
  • Assisting Customers with account enquiries.
  • Creation and distribution of Customer Statements

Working : Monday - Friday, flexible working hours

Salary : £12.50 ph -£15 ph depending on experience
