A leading retailer of electrical equipment are currently looking to recruit an experienced Finance Clerk to join their Cashier Team based at their head office in Knutsford. Well-known for their strong and positive reputation, this company prides themselves on how much they invest in staff so it’s no surprise that their staff turnover is low which means, an opportunity like this is not to be missed!
Working within a small but very busy team you will be involved in general day-to-day finance functions however with a real focus on bank reconciliations. Other duties will include:
- Allocation of customer receipts
- Resolving purchase ledger queries
- Processing bacs transfers and cheque payments
- Monthly bank and cash-book reconciliations
The client works on a bespoke accountancy system so the ability to pick up new systems is beneficial as well as being fully conversant on MS Excel). Accountancy experience is a must for this role – it is essential that you can display previous experience of Bank reconciliations however a qualification within accounts is not essential.
