Freight Forwarder - Knowsley

£30,000 – £32,000 DOE

The Role:

• Coordinate and manage road freight import & export cargo from origin to destination throughout the UK and EU
• Prepare and process all necessary documentation
• Ensure all cargo complies with international trade regulations and company policies.
• Liaise with haulage providers to ensure smooth and efficient transportation
• Negotiate rates with carriers and service providers to optimise costs 
• Monitor and track cargo progress providing regular updates to clients
• Take ownership and resolve any problems or issues

The successful applicant:

• Must be an experienced freight forwarder
• Have ideally worked on road transport across the EU
• Possess a driving license to visit clients building relationships
• Will be a confident, outgoing character  

Monday – Friday 9-5pm
