Seeking a French speaking research assistant to join a dynamic and growing team. This is a client-facing role, ideal for a commercially minded professional who thrives on relationship-building, consultative sales, and delivering outstanding customer service — while ensuring profitability. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Account Manager to play a key role in driving business growth while maintaining exceptional client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

· Act as the main point of contact for clients, liaising face-to-face, by phone, and through detailed reporting

· Take the lead in client meetings and communications, ensuring a high standard of customer service while managing commercial objectives

· Research, analyse, and identify potential market sectors, prospects, and leads using online tools, databases, search engines, and apps

· Make productive outbound calls and emails to generate and qualify new business opportunities

· Build, develop, and nurture long-term relationships with prospects and clients

· Accurately input data, write informative contact notes, and ensure the sales pipeline is well organised and actively managed

· Plan and review client interactions to ensure service quality and achievement of targets

· Manage all prospect interactions in line with company standards and relevant legislation (including marketing opt-outs, unsubscribes, and cyber security requirements)

· Stay up to date with international industry news and apply insights to day-to-day activities

· Develop a strong understanding of clients’ products, services, and market sectors, including strengths and weaknesses

· Ensure leads are sector-appropriate and aligned with the overall ‘destination sell’

The Ideal Candidate

Fluent in French (written and spoken) – essential

· Proven experience in Convention Bureau, Conference Venue, or Hotel Sales

· Confident in leading client interactions and representing the business at a professional level

· Highly organised, commercially aware, and relationship-driven

· Strong communication and negotiation skills

· A proactive, results-driven approach

· Excellent attention to detail and CRM discipline

· The ability to balance customer satisfaction with commercial performance

Monday – Friday 9am -5pm

Salary £26,000-£29,000
