My client a government organisation with strong links to the private sector are currently looking to recruit an experienced HR Advisor to join them on a 6month contract to cover maternity leave.  Offices are based in Wilmslow however this role will be home-based for the immediate future.

Working as part of a team you will be responsible for providing support and advice to managers and staff on HR policies and procedures including entitlements e.g. holiday, sick and mat leave. 

You will provide advice and guidance to manager investigating disciplinaries, grievances or other work issues including facilitation and mediation if necessary.  You may also get involved in recruitment processes including job interview panels.

To be successful in this role you must have a minimum of 3 years HR Advisory experience with a core focus on employee relations as well as being able to show proof of this experience.  Your knowledge of employment law must be up to date.  The client is also interested in candidates who can display how their knowledge of Equality and Diversity has been used in previous roles.
