HR Assistant - Didsbury
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to join a professional legal business within the Didsbury area. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring efficient administrative processes, and contributing to a positive workplace culture. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee records in HR systems and personnel files.
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including the preparation of documents, scheduling orientation, and collecting equipment or credentials.
- Prepare HR-related documentation such as employment contracts, letters, and reports.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, and other general HR questions.
- Help coordinate employee engagement activities, training sessions, and company events.
- Support payroll and benefits administration as needed.
- Work closely with the Office Manager to assist with H&S, cultural and administrative projects.
Experience
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Previous experience in a HR role is preferred 1-2 years of HR experience
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial for interacting with employees at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent IT skills with Microsoft Office and familiarity with HRIS systems would be ideal
