Position: Interim Warehouse Manager, Stockport, 6 month contract
Our client is dedicated to providing seamless logistics and supply chain solutions for their clients, a rare opportunity for an interim Warehouse Manager has opened for a 6 month contract. Are you an experienced leader in a warehouse with experience in quickly learning processes and able to oversee a busy goods in section as well as general warehouse supervisory jobs.
This is a critical position for our client and they need someone who can ensure the warehouse runs efficiently.
For this role you need to be an excellent communicator, able to make decisions and have a natural leadership style, experience is essential alongside a counterbalance licence.
To be successful in this role you will also need to have IT skills to operate the warehouse systems and to produce any reports needed for pick or goods in.
Skills and Experience Required:
- At least 5 years of management experience in a similar role within an SME
- Strong understanding of process management.
- Competent with various IT systems relevant to warehouse management.
- Valid FLT (Forklift Truck) and Counterbalance licenses are essential.
- Experience in overseeing a team of around 45 employees.
- Oversee a fleet of vans responsible for daily deliveries and unloading operations.
