Internal Sales/Sales Order Processor

Sales Order Processor – Warrington Salary £30,000-£35,000

Looking for a Sales Order Processor with a knack for creating accurate customer quotations and managing order workflows? We are looking for a motivated individual to join our dynamic team, supporting our service and project sales functions in the fast-paced Air Products industry.

As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for producing timely, accurate quotations for service works, repairs, and projects. You will liaise with both internal teams and external customers, ensuring every quote aligns with our business goals and customer expectations. You’ll also have the opportunity to develop strong client relationships, identify new sales opportunities, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our quoting processes.

 

Duties:

  • Prepare detailed quotations tailored to customer needs, including scope, pricing, and terms.
  • Ensure quotes comply with company pricing policies and approval protocols.
  • Work alongside the sales team to align proposals with strategic goals.
  • Engage with customers to understand requirements and explore cross-sell or up-sell opportunities.
  • Follow up on quotes to build long-term relationships and encourage repeat business.
  • Maintain and manage quote statuses using our internal CRM (Joblogic).
  • Streamline and improve the quotation process to increase speed and accuracy.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Liaise with suppliers to manage lead times and communicate delays to clients.
  • Capture customer feedback to support continuous improvement.

 

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in producing customer quotations and processing orders.
  • Strong IT skills – Excel, Word, Outlook, and CRM systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Professional and confident communication skills.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a drive to achieve results.
  • Experience working to KPIs in a sales support or commercial environment.
  • Essential: Knowledge of Air products or prior experience in the Air industry.

Monday – Friday, 40 hours a week

Salary £30,000-£35,000
