A forward-thinking innovative tech company are looking to a Product Training & Documentation Manager to join their vibrant and collaborative team. This candidate will need experience delivering on site training sessions (technical preferred) alongside running a team developing technical documentation.
- Overall responsibility for global product training and documentation leading a small team;
- Work with key stakeholders to define, create, and implement the company product training program for global delivery to support personnel to increase their knowledge on products.
- Ensure a high standard of product knowledge is held across all delivery and support staff across the business, by conducting training reviews, gap analysis and refresher sessions where needed
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to design technical training courses
- Develop and maintain e-learning courses, self-help material and web-based tutorials.
- Deliver in person training sessions at the key office locations of the company
- Leadership of a small team of documentation writers creating both internal and external facing material
Required Skills
- Proven experience working as a professional trainer delivering technical training (software and hardware) to international teams
- A willingness to travel regionally/internationally (a major part of the role)
- Hold a professional training qualification (i.e. CIPD or equivalent)
- Previous team leadership experience
- Experience working with/developing virtual training platforms
- Strong confidence and practical ability presenting to, and engaging with audiences
- Ability to develop high-level technical knowledge to be able to break down technology concepts
