Logistics Administrator - £25,000 + benefits + career progression
Working for an extremely reputable business located in Wilmslow, you will be working within the Head Office being involved with the administration for a busy department. The ideal candidate will have good attention to detail, strong administration skills and will be able to have a confident telephone manner when required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supporting the completion of orders; customer requests; providing costings for new orders and business
- Creation of purchase and sales orders onto the CMP database correctly and in a timely manner
- Update the database with changes as they happen
- Communicating with transport companies to ensure timely collections and deliveries with the correct equipment
- Effective correspondence with suppliers and customers to coordinate availability of stock and fulfillment of customer orders as required
Skills Required:
- Previous experience within a busy administrative background - Logistics / Supply Chain experience would be seen as an advantage
- Excellent IT skills, capable of picking new systems and databases up
- Team player, confident in working within an office setting
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
