An expanding business in Wythenshawe needs a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Planner/Warehouse Coordinator. With a focus on efficient and timely distribution of finished goods, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the products reach their customers effectively. You will need to be an excellent communicator to help resolve business customers' issues, and be able to improve efficiencies through planning and controlling the flow of goods.
Duties:
- Develop and implement logistics plans to meet customer demands and optimize delivery schedules.
- Monitor and track shipment progress, ensuring on-time deliveries and addressing any delays or issues proactively.
- Conduct regular analysis of logistics operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing efficiency-enhancing initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including stock reconciliation and regular cycle counts.
- Reconcile invoices for goods
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate picking, packing, and loading of products for shipment.
- Prepare Haulier collections
- Update Pallet and haulier requirements on the inhouse system
Skills
