This reputable and long-standing Construction business based within the Macclesfield area is actively looking for a part-time Accountant to work ideally 3 - 4 days per week. This South Manchester business is a well-established family run company who pride themselves on their customer service and strong working values. The role of the Accountant will be to provide support to the business with all cash flow forecasting, balance sheet reconciliation, and VAT returns. If you have experience Personal Tax this is seen as an added benefit.
The role is working within a lively team of 8 in an open plan office, you must be profressional but outgoing with a good sense of humour!
Responsibilities:
- Fixed Asset Register management, calculation, and posting of depreciation
- Calculating and Posting Accruals, Prepayments, and work in progress
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Annual Budget and quarterly forecast preparations
- Completion and submission of Quarterly VAT Returns
- Cash Flow Forecasting
- Personal Tax
- Intercompany processes
- Also, there may be some help needed with Finance, HR, and Credit Control
