Materials Scheduler - £27,000
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Scheduler to join an extremley busy team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating schedules, managing resources including procurement of stock levels, and ensuring that all operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have experience with suppliers, raising purchase orders, negotiation with suppliers and MRP analysis (reporting on stock that needs replacing)
Your ability to effectively communicate and manage time will be essential in supporting our operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with The Planning and Procurement Team on supplier orders from initial order
- Ordering materials from suppliers ensuring stock is available in all warehouses
- Placing supplier orders and making sure all stock has been ordered in time.
- Resolving any scheduling problems with stock and ongoing orders
- Month end reporting on delivery performance and others
- Tracking data and information using spreadsheets and CRM systems
- Support new product introductions and stock management
- Supplier management including dealing with performance and quality issues
Requirements
- Experience within planning and procurement, investigating stock movements, replacing stock availability when needed
- Be able to build strong relationships with suppliers
- Previous negotiating and supplier management experience (would be an advantage)
- The ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
- The ability to work as part of a small team
