Mortgage Administrator - 27k
12 month FTC starting ASAP
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Mortgage Administrator who is responsible for providing a friendly, efficient and professional mortgage administration service to the members, customers and advisors.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting operations by managing administrative tasks, ensuring smooth communication, and maintaining efficient office procedures.
Mortgage experience is not essential for this role; however it would be seen as desirable.
Duties
- Manage daily administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars.
- Prepare and process financial documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain records and files, both physical and digital, ensuring they are organised and easily accessible.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations as required by management.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
- Handle incoming correspondence, including emails and phone calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Support the team in various projects by providing administrative assistance as needed.
- To deal with customer dissatisfaction and complaints as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the financial services sector (ideally mortgage experience but not essential)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft packages including Word & Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to change
