Motor Claims Handler

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000

Hybrid working.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Motor Claims Handler to join a leading, long-established insurance services provider. You’ll manage a portfolio of motor insurance claims from first notification to settlement, working within delegated authority and insurer SLAs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle FNOL and third-party claims “cradle to grave”
• Assess liability, indemnity, and policy coverage
• Instruct engineers, recovery agents, and solicitors
• Process settlements and manage outlay recovery
• Deliver outstanding customer service to all parties

About You:

• Proven experience in motor claims handling
• Knowledge of insurer best practice and FCA standards
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
• Accurate, organised, and confident under pressure
• Cert CII desirable but not essential
