New Patient Co-ordinator

The position brings support, development and growth to candidates who are looking to be challenged within a rewarding company. 

Ideal candidates will have worked within a previous consultative role, ideally a medical healthcare setting where you are providing patients with new services. You will provide support and guidance from initial point of contact via telephone, email, and web chat. Your role will be to convert the patient to attending a consultation within the practice, sending out information on services and pricing. 

Responsibilities:

• Take and manage all new telephone calls from prospective patients who are looking for information on services as well as pricing
• Respond to emails and speak via web chat to prospective new patients about services and pricing
• Build relationships with patients, building trust and providing support with their initial requirements
• Working with different internal departments to facilitate communication between teams, attending team meetings to contribute towards improvements and new ideas
• Collect and verify patient information, ensuring confidentiality
• Updating patient records and systems with any changes or recent updates on new services being offered
• Attend events and conferences to attract patients to the practice, explaining the services on offer

We are looking for someone who is empathetic and caring. You need to have a proven track record in understanding peoples requirements, have good listening skills and be prepared to ask questions relating to their background and circumstances. Requirements:

• Ideally experience within a Healthcare or Medical setting
• Experience of working closely with patients, advising them of medical services available to them
• Soft selling of benefits for medical procedures or services 
• Presentable and professional
• Confident with excellent communications skills
