This Media Solution Company located within the Cheadle Stockport area is now recruiting for a Trainee HR Administrator to join their growing successful team. The role involves the ideal candidate being held responsible for all HR Admin-related and Office support responsibilities including being a key member of, processing new starters, updating the HR systems, and processing incoming references.  This global organisation that has a presence throughout Europe, America, and China are looking for someone who is motivated and driven.

Monday-Friday working role, 9am-5pm hours are flexible to suit, the client offers a very flexible working environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting and maintaining the HR system
  • Ensure accurate HR records are maintained, including hard copy files and electronic files within the HR system
  • Process incoming references
  • Provide information as required to benefits providers, and seek to resolve employee queries
  • Deal with all pension queries and provide information to the pension scheme providers as appropriate
  • Prepare and issue offer letters and contracts of employment to new staff
  • Coordinate new employee data collection and system set-up
  • Process leaver details and prepare correspondence
  • Take care of issuing and maintaining employee equipment
  • Support day to day administrative tasks within the HR Team
  • Assist with the maintenance of the HR inbox, escalating queries as appropriate
  • Be a key member of the social committee and assist with the organisations of employee events and wellbeing activities

Ideal candidate

  • Professional and confident manner showing tact and diplomacy at all times
  • Meticulous attention to detail and able to apply a methodical approach to all tasks
  • Confident with aspects of administration tasks
  • Comfortable working independently and able to use their initiative 
  • Previous experience of working in a fast-paced administration role
  • Be ‘Tech savy and have excellent IT skills, including word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
