Operations Coordinator – Bury - £28,000 - Hours are 7.30am-4pm
Looking for an organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to join a close-knit Stock and Warehouse team. This is a hands-on role, supporting the day-to-day flow of goods, transport, and paperwork to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling transport for sales orders using our in-house computer system
- Raising purchase orders to hauliers and negotiating competitive rates
- Processing purchase orders into the system to enable invoice payments
- Handling POD requests and providing copy invoices as required
- Producing pack and pallet labels to support dispatch operations
- Confirming works orders within the computer system
- Printing delivery notes and manifests for outbound shipments
- Invoicing sales orders, reconciling paperwork, and maintaining accurate filing
- Working closely with warehouse and production teams to ensure orders are prepared on time for hauliers
- Supporting with stock and non-stock purchasing during colleagues’ absence
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in operations, logistics, or a warehouse office environment is preferred
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Confident using computer systems and managing documentation
- Able to work both independently and as part of a close team
- Flexible, proactive, and committed to meeting deadlines
Salary £28,000
Hours for this role are set at 7.30am – 4pm
