Looking for a confident and experienced Operations Manager for an Investment team based in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in financial services operations and people management who is ready to make a real impact.

In this role, you'll manage three key teams, ensuring high-quality service, regulatory compliance, and process efficiency across the board.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead day-to-day operations across three specialist teams
• Monitor and improve productivity, accuracy, and performance
• Analyse workloads, resourcing needs, and management information (MI)
• Act as point of escalation for complex operational issues and client complaints
• Oversee regulatory reporting (e.g. ISA, MiFIR, FCA product sales data)
• Review and improve policies, processes, and procedures
• Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to deliver service excellence
• Support the Head of Operations on business-critical projects and service innovation
• Ensure all people management duties (e.g. reviews, coaching, development) are effectively delivered

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong experience managing operations in a financial services or investment administration setting
• Proven people management skills with the ability to develop and coach teams
• Confident working with data, MI, and workflow analysis
• Experience with regulatory frameworks (AML, GDPR, FCA reporting, etc.)
• Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong commercial awareness and decision-making ability
• Comfortable leading change and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

🎓 CISI Investment Operations Certificate or equivalent
