The Company

We’re working exclusively with a highly reputable Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) practice in Preston who are looking to expand their close-knit team with an experienced Paraplanner. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive firm where you’ll play a key role in client service and technical support.

The Role

As a Paraplanner, you’ll provide vital support to advisers by producing suitability reports, conducting in-depth product research, and preparing files for client meetings. You’ll also liaise with providers and clients directly, ensuring the smooth running of business administration.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Producing high-quality, compliant suitability reports
• Tailoring suitability letters for individual clients
• Conducting research across pensions, investments, ISAs and protection products
• Preparing client files and supporting advisers with meeting prep
• Submitting new business applications, producing quotations, and chasing providers/fees
• Assisting administrators during peak periods and working as part of a collaborative team

What We’re Looking Fo

• At least 2 years’ paraplanning experience within Financial Services
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, ISAs & protection policies
• Experienced in suitability report writing
• Diploma qualified (or working towards)
• Familiarity with Intelligent Office and/or Selectapension (advantageous)
• Highly organised, proactive and an excellent communicator

What’s On Offer

• Salary: £27,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience & qualifications)
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
