Salary: £40,000 – £45,000

A respected Independent Financial Planning firm is looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to join its growing team in Bury.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a career-focused individual who enjoys delivering high-quality financial planning support.

The Role

Working closely with Financial Advisers, you will provide technical research and produce compliant suitability reports across pensions, investments, retirement planning, and taxation.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse clients’ existing financial arrangements
• Conduct research and prepare tailored recommendations
• Produce high-quality suitability reports and client documentation
• Prepare valuations, quotations, and meeting packs
• Liaise with advisers, providers, and compliance teams
• Maintain accurate client records and workflow updates
• Ensure work is completed within agreed timescales and FCA guidelines

Requirements

• Previous Paraplanner experience within Financial Services
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, and taxation
• Experience writing suitability reports
• Good understanding of FCA compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Working towards or holding the CII Diploma qualification
