Part-Time Accounts Assistant (SAGE Experience Essential)
Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a flexible part-time role? Looking for a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join a lovely, friendly team In Liverpool, working 22.5 hours per week. This role offers flexibility in working patterns and the option for hybrid working once training is complete.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain sales and purchase ledgers accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Carry out bank reconciliations
- Monthly accounts reports
- Generate and send invoices to customers (typically 30–50 per week, more during busy periods)
- Assist with general accounting and administrative duties as required
About You:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant
- Confident user of SAGE accounting software (essential)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Able to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
- Flexible and adaptable, with good communication skills
Hybrid – office & home-based
22.5 hours per week (flexible – 3 full days or 5 mornings/afternoons)
Salary - £27,000-£30,000- Pro Rata Down 22.5 hours per week
