Parts Advisor
We have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Advisor to join our busy Aftersales team. Looking for a hardworking individual who has a friendly outgoing personality and is confident. Experience in the automotive industry is desirable though not essential as full training will be provided.
The role involves talking to customers on the phone, or face to face, at either the workshop parts counter, or the customer parts counter. You will use computer systems to identify vehicle parts and check stock levels, negotiate prices, and upsell products to customers.
Day to day duties of a Parts Advisor
- Providing our customers with a high level of customer service in an enthusiastic and positive manner
- Handling parts enquires face to face, on the telephone and via email
- Order parts from Renault Trucks
- Order parts from local suppliers
- Receiving goods and locating in the correct location
- Picking parts from warehouse
- Building and developing relationships with customers
- Stock control
- Creating Invoices
- Carrying out regular stock takes
- Follow manufacturer warranty procedures
- Report stock shortages and damages
- Any other duties as required
The ideal candidate:
- Experience within a parts department pr workshop is desirable but not essential
- Self-motivated and passionate
- Hardworking with a “can do” attitude
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Well organised with excellent communication skills
- PC Literate
- Reliable and punctual
- Driving License
Monday – Thursday working hours on a rota basis between 8-8pm Friday 8.30-5.30pm
1-3 Saturdays to be worked 8-12pm with overtime and hours in Lieu
Salary £25,000-£30,000 DOE
