Payroll Assistant

Payroll Administrator / Payroll Assistant

Looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join a team. The successful candidate will have experience processing weekly payroll for approximately 40 employees and be confident working with Excel spreadsheets and clocking-in systems.

Duties:

  • Processing weekly payroll accurately and on time
  • Downloading and managing hours from clocking-in machines
  • Checking timesheets and resolving discrepancies
  • Managing holiday pay, sick pay, and employee records
  • Maintaining payroll spreadsheets and reports using Excel
  • Ensuring all payroll information is accurate and confidential
  • Providing support to employees with payroll queries

Ideal Candidate:

  • Have previous payroll experience
  • Be confident using Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Be organised and able to work to deadlines
  • Be trustworthy and dependable
  • Be willing to go above and beyond to help both staff and management
  • Have strong communication and problem-solving skills

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a supportive team.

Monday – Friday – Will consider 9am-3pm

Salary £28,000-£30,000
