Production Assembly Operative - Temp Assignment - Immediate Start
Irlam, Manchester  £12.80 per hour
Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm | Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm

A well-established manufacturer based in Irlam requires a Production Assembly Operative to join their friendly production team on a temp basis for 2 months.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in doing a job properly and is looking for an immediate start.

What You'll Be Doing

Working as part of a small production team, you will assist with the assembly of electrical cable and equipment components, including:

• Assembly of small electrical and cable components
• Cutting and preparing cables
• Using hand tools and production equipment
• Quality checking completed products
• Following drawings and work instructions
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Supporting the production team to meet customer deadlines

Previous soldering experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

• Have some experience within manufacturing, production, assembly or a similar environment
• Be reliable, punctual and have a good work ethic
• Be comfortable carrying out repetitive assembly work
• Have good attention to detail
• Be able to follow instructions and learn new processes quickly
• Work well as part of a team
• Be available to start immediately or at short notice
• Have the Right to Work in UK

Experience with soldering, wiring, cable assembly or electrical products would be advantageous.
