Production Assistant
We are looking for an experienced Production Assistant to join a busy team in Irlam, Manchester, and an immediate start is available to a successful candidate.
This is an ongoing, temporary role that pays £11.44 per hour.
Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00 (1 hour lunch) Friday 08:30 to 16:30pm (1/2 hour lunch).
The Role
Reporting to the Production Manager and the Production Supervisor, as a Production Assistant you will be involved with all aspects of assembling and manufacturing.
The Production Assistant responsibilities will include:
- Working from Bill of Materials, Drawings and Build Information to produce assembled products in line with customers requirements
- Assisting the Production Manager and Production Supervisors / Assistants to ensure all orders are manufactured to the schedule provided
- Quality Checking components to the standard required
- Recording of information and testing results where required
- Maintaining a clean and efficient work area
- Operating safely and to correct protocol whilst carrying out work
- Other activities relating to the Production Department as required
The Candidate
To be successful for this role, you must have experience working in production, manufacturing or assembly.
You need to be available to start immediately and have your own safety boots/shoes.
