One of my clients, a leading global firm within the medical device industry are currently looking to expand their manufacturing team and recruit an experienced Production Planner.  Working alongside the Project Engineer and Senior Management you will be responsible for ensuring all inventory is available for manufacturing instruments as well as spare parts.  You will ensure stock is managed efficiently whilst keeping in line with budgets and forecasts.

Core duties will be focussed on actioning build plans for instruments whilst ensuring accurate lead times.  You will create and implement supply chains for components, spare parts and additional materials.  You will also be involved in budget meetings alongside managers and finance.

Experience of SOP processes as well as MRPII is essential for you to be successful within this role.  Working knowledge of MS Office and SAP will also be required with a strong financial acumen.  Working with senior management, external bodies and additional internal teams requires you to be customer focussed and have good interpersonal skills.
