Programme Manager Fixed Term Contract 12 Months – Home Based
£55,000-£70,000
Looking for an experienced Programme Manager with a strong background in business change to lead a complex, multi-workstream transformation initiative. This is a key strategic role—not focused on IT change—so we require someone who can drive organisational, operational and people-focused change. Our IT change department is already in place; this role will focus exclusively on wider business transformation.
As Programme Lead, you will drive a major strategic change programme that supports organisational alignment and operational excellence. Partnering closely with senior leadership, you will ensure the programme is delivered smoothly, with robust governance, proactive stakeholder engagement, and measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage the strategic change programme from planning through to delivery
· Support senior leaders in driving programme success and ensuring alignment with organisational objectives
· Establish and maintain strong governance frameworks and programme processes
· Engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
· Monitor programme progress, track benefits, and report on impact
· Proactively identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies
· Oversee resource allocation, budgetin,g and financial oversight of programme activities
Decision-Making Scope
· Accountable for programme planning, governance improvements and stakeholder engagement strategies
· Responsible for identifying actions and managing risks that affect delivery and organisational efficiency
· Empowered to make decisions on timelines, resource deployment, and communication strategies with significant impact across Solus and its wider partnerships
Qualifications & Experience
· Proven experience leading large-scale programmes and complex business change initiatives
· Strong understanding of governance, risk management and compliance
· Familiarity with recognised project and change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, APMG, PMP, PRINCE2)
· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
· Integrity, openness, and a commitment to good governance
· Energetic, motivated, and comfortable simplifying complexity
· Passionate about driving innovation and sustainable change
Monday – Friday 9am-5pm
Salary £55,000-£70,000
