Purchase Ledger Clerk – Liverpool, Merseyside – Salary: £18,000 - £22,000

Large Manufacturing organisation based in Liverpool, Merseyside are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their growing accounts team.

This role is in a great location with free parking and also with an attractive benefits package.

Your role will involve:

• Oversee Purchase Ledger and make sure the costs are accurate and all payments are within payment terms
• Match Invoices electronically to purchase orders
• Maintain ledger, allocating payments and manage supplier statements
• Handle invoices and payment queries
• Chase payments from suppliers
• Resolve queries from ledger reports

This is a busy role within the accounts dept and has various other duties which we can discuss.

Ideal experience:

• Worked with purchase ledger or previously/currently in a purchase ledger position
• If worked on Sage 200 that would be ideal but not essential
• If currently working / studying towards AAT that would be ideal but full study support is provided
