Quality & Logistics Coordinator – Widnes

Are you a recent graduate with a technical, scientific, engineering, or quality-related background and an interest in developing a career in business operations? Seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Quality & Logistics Coordinator to join a growing team.

Reporting directly to the Logistics & Quality Lead, this is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in logistics, quality assurance, and business operations within a fast-paced, expanding organisation. Looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes ownership of their work, and is keen to build a long-term career while developing professional qualifications in quality management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Booking transport for pallets, IBCs and drums.
  • Booking tanker collections and deliveries.
  • Obtaining and maintaining proof of delivery documentation.
  • Managing the collection and return of used IBCs from customers.
  • Maintaining accurate asset receipt and goods-out records.
  • Maintaining transport and logistics records.
  • Participating in stock-taking activities.
  • Maintaining quality records and documentation.
  • Supporting and participating in internal quality audits.
  • Using CRM and internal systems to ensure records remain accurate and up to date.
  • Identifying operational issues and assisting with practical solutions.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Hold a degree in a technical, scientific, engineering, manufacturing, quality-related or similar discipline.
  • Have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify errors, discrepancies, and inconsistencies quickly.
  • Be highly organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Take ownership of responsibilities and be accountable for delivering results.
  • Be comfortable following established procedures and processes.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Thrive in a fast-moving and sometimes high-pressure environment.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be confident using computer systems and willing to learn CRM and business management software.
  • Be ambitious, motivated, and eager to develop your career within a growing business.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the efficient movement of goods while maintaining high standards of quality and record management.

Salary £28,000
