Quality & Logistics Coordinator – Widnes

Reporting directly to the Logistics & Quality Lead, this is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in logistics, quality assurance, and business operations within a fast-paced, expanding organisation. Looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes ownership of their work, and is keen to build a long-term career while developing professional qualifications in quality management.
Key responsibilities:
- Booking transport for pallets, IBCs and drums.
- Booking tanker collections and deliveries.
- Obtaining and maintaining proof of delivery documentation.
- Managing the collection and return of used IBCs from customers.
- Maintaining accurate asset receipt and goods-out records.
- Maintaining transport and logistics records.
- Participating in stock-taking activities.
- Maintaining quality records and documentation.
- Supporting and participating in internal quality audits.
- Using CRM and internal systems to ensure records remain accurate and up to date.
- Identifying operational issues and assisting with practical solutions.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Hold a degree in a technical, scientific, engineering, manufacturing, quality-related or similar discipline.
- Have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify errors, discrepancies, and inconsistencies quickly.
- Be highly organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Take ownership of responsibilities and be accountable for delivering results.
- Be comfortable following established procedures and processes.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Thrive in a fast-moving and sometimes high-pressure environment.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be confident using computer systems and willing to learn CRM and business management software.
- Be ambitious, motivated, and eager to develop your career within a growing business.
