Receptionist

Salary up to £25,000 plus excellent benefits package

Join a dynamic team in Ellesmere Port as a Receptionist.  We are looking for a motivated individual to be the first point of contact for all visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visitor Management: Meet and greet all visitors, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and security protocols.
  • Induction Duties: Conduct inductions for contractors and new starters, including setting up ID badges.
  • SAP Management: Raise Purchase Orders and receipt goods using SAP.
  • Printer Maintenance: Oversee printer maintenance.
  • Vehicle Coordination: Arrange car hire for the site.
  • Site Logistics: Manage locks, keys, and name plates for the site.
  • Office Management Support: Log and assign work based on Office Manager requests.
  • Administrative Support: Handle binding, laminating, and photocopying for internal customers.
  • Telephone Management: Field all telephone calls, ensuring no cold callers are put through.
  • Meeting Room Management: Maintain meeting room diaries, prepare rooms, and manage refreshments.
  • Event Coordination: Organize internal lunches for internal and external customers upon request.
  • Transportation Arrangement: Arrange taxis for each department upon request.
  • Mail Handling: Distribute and collect all internal and external mail; arrange couriered mail collections and distributions.
  • Stationery Management: Process and distribute stationery orders to other departments.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a busy reception role.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Team Player: Confident and effective team player, capable of working well within a wider team.
  • Self-Motivated: Highly motivated and flexible, with the ability to work independently when necessary.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP knowledge is desirable.

Hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 per week (normally between 8.00am – 5.00pm)
