An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Administrator to join a small but friendly team based in Warrington. This global company is adding to its team due to growth in the company. The purpose of this position is to deal with incoming orders from the sales team, set up the delivery, inputting of the prices, arrange with haulage companies for collection, process returns, and liaise with the warehouse for stock updates. The ideal candidates would need to have experience in a previous sales admin role.

Job Description

  • Checking pick notes against customer's purchase orders and processing delivery advice notes for all orders due to be despatched from the branch
  • Liaise closely with the warehouse management team coordinating all orders due to be loaded on various haulage companies
  • Input transport orders onto the hauler’s online portals producing pallet labels,
  • Pricing up each individual job ensures that all information is correct 
  • Contact a range of haulers build relationships and negotiate prices 
  • Management of the branches delivery planner making sure all orders due to be collected by various means are planned in, so the warehouse is as organised and prepared as possible
  • Arranging customer returns and generating the relevant paperwork 
  • Confirm despatching all orders each morning from the previous day through to the invoicing stage for the sales managers.
  • Running daily/weekly sales reports keeping track of all the orders progress and updating relevant management/colleagues of any changes
  • Sending haulage to spend/cost-saving reports on a weekly basis to the Admin Manager
  • Processing POD requests via shared mailbox
  • Support other members of the team when required with inputting of sales orders for specific customers or manufacturing

Job Requirements

  • Previous Sales Admin/Transport Planner experience
  • Good time management skills
  • Able to manage a busy workload and able to prioritise tasks
  • Attention to detail
  • Be confident to speak to a range of suppliers and customers in a professional manner

Salary £22-£23k DOE 

Monday - Friday 40 Hours a week
