Working in a busy customer focussed environment where your key role will be to work with your customers placing their orders, high volume and value, arranging the transport and ensuring the purchase order is raised correctly ensuring the order is processed end to end.  If you come from a logistics, transport, manufacturing, or sales order coordination position then this role can provide you with an excellent team, fast paced environment, and somewhere you can ensure customer satisfaction.

Duties will include: 

  • Order handling and invoicing for internal and external customers
  • Contact with transport companies – Imports/Exports/UK. Including booking of pallet dispatches on an external transport portal
  • Process of domestic purchase orders • Supporting the sales team as required
  • Process customer orders in our ERP system, send out order confirmations, keep customers updated during order processing, check payment status if applicable, and send out invoicing and any other documentation as required
  • Ensuring customer records are kept up to date with accurate details
  • Responding to queries via telephone and email
  • Assisting other team members as necessary
  • Using a variety of software applications
  • Filing documents
  • Any other administrative tasks as required

Skills Required

  • Previous experience in a similar position (manufacturing experience preferred)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong Administration skills, and previous order processing experience would be beneficial
  • Highly organised and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

Salary £20-£24k 

Mon - Friday 8.30-5pm

25 days hol plus banks
