Sales Coordinator – Runcorn

Looking for a Sales Coordinator, Internal Sales Executive, Sales Administrator, or Sales Order Processor who is looking for their next challenge within the electrical wholesale sector.

Seeking a driven and commercially focused Sales Coordinator to join a growing team. Working closely with our Business Development Managers, you will play a key role in driving branch sales growth, managing customer relationships, and converting opportunities into profitable business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, enjoys building customer relationships, and is motivated by achieving KPIs and sales targets.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Speak with customers daily, providing product advice, quotations, and excellent customer service
  • Process sales quotations, sales orders, and purchase orders accurately and efficiently
  • Manage and develop relationships with assigned customer accounts
  • Proactively follow up on quotations to maximise conversion rates and secure new business
  • Work closely with Business Development Managers to identify and develop sales opportunities across the branch
  • Expedite customer and supplier orders, resolving any issues relating to returns or non-conforming products
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records
  • Support the wider sales team with administrative and sales coordination activities
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
  • Consistently deliver outstanding customer service aligned with company values

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience supporting and driving sales growth
  • Strong customer relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Experience preparing and following up on quotations
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing orders
  • Comfortable working towards KPIs, sales targets, and branch growth objectives
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy sales environment
  • Good IT skills and experience using CRM systems
  • Growing customer accounts and increasing sales revenue
  • Winning new business or securing key contracts
  • Improving quotation conversion rates
  • Exceeding sales KPIs and performance targets

Monday – Friday – Office Based

Salary up to  £35,000 depending on experience
