Sales Order Processor – Irlam
Looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Sales Order Processor to join a lovely friendly team and support the smooth running of their sales operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, delivered on time, and aligned with commercial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing customer orders on demand and managing the order book
- Coordinating with the Purchasing team to confirm delivery dates and provide timely customer updates
- Checking order specifications, pricing accuracy, and monitoring delivery schedules
- Preparing and issuing quotations on request, in cooperation with the Account Manager
- Tracking sales performance against budget targets
- Assisting with the preparation of sales budgets and forecasts, as required, alongside the Account Manager
- Following up on action points arising from annual contracts and account visits, including pricing, volume agreements, logistics arrangements, special projects, and other general matters
- Overseeing sample requests, including checking stock availability and coordinating dispatch
About You:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with customers and internal teams
- Comfortable working with order processing systems and sales data
- Proactive, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a sales support, order processing, or customer service role would be advantageous

Salary £30,000 plus bonus
