Are you a Media Specialist looking for your next project? A highly prominent company based in the heart of Cheshire are looking for an experienced media professional to join their internal communications team.

Using your media relations expertise, you will support the group manager in overseeing reactive and proactive communications to the media. Focussing on external communications you will prepare articles, blogs, press packs and releases. You will be responsible for creating integrated communications campaigns as well as liaising with key media stakeholders.

The client is ideally looking for someone who is experienced working within a large or high-profile press office as you will be handling complex media enquiries and need to be able to recognise and mitigate reputation risks.

Initially a three-month contract to start early January, my client does offer opportunities of contract extensions.  The role is currently home based but they will provide all necessary IT equipment.  Extensive experience within a communications is vital for this role and if you have a professional qualification (CIPR, CIM, CAM ETC.) then that’s a bonus!
